Lovely hotel really comfortable and clean if I come to Brighton again this will be my 1st choice

The restaurant adjoining the hotel the food was ok but I didn’t think there was enough choices for children eg cereal,plain toast would be a good option to have. Also make it clearer if you book breakfast what’s included .

Very Good
Excellent location, right in the lanes. The hotel had parking but there were no spaces when we arrived. There is an NCP car park just round the corner though. Bed was comfy and room was spacious
Rooms are a bit dated and could do with a re-paint. Price was a bit high for just one night but you're paying for location rather than facilities

Great, but for the cost there are issues that I would not expect to have.
Great location, we stayed in the Carousel Suite (which is lovely). Quiet rooms.
Minor annoyances - if the hotel are reading I’m happy to discuss: The codes in use for guests throughout the property are fiddly and do not work reliably (I found myself stuck in the car park more than once). There clearly is smart card functionality as the staff all use them - extend to guests as well. Given the cost of the suite, I would expect room service and there are some minor niggles with the room that you should sort: Beside lamps using a barely functional remote as the only method of control, the bed is very hard, a memory foam mattress topper would fix this. The main shower has an overhead and handheld, but the handheld does not work.
