Surprised to be charged £66 for 2 nights parking. I would have returned but this charge has totally put me off amd it wasn't made clear about the massive charge. Would have parked offsite if I'd known. What I thought was good value felt ike a sting

Great, but for the cost there are issues that I would not expect to have.
Great location, we stayed in the Carousel Suite (which is lovely). Quiet rooms.
Minor annoyances - if the hotel are reading I’m happy to discuss: The codes in use for guests throughout the property are fiddly and do not work reliably (I found myself stuck in the car park more than once). There clearly is smart card functionality as the staff all use them - extend to guests as well. Given the cost of the suite, I would expect room service and there are some minor niggles with the room that you should sort: Beside lamps using a barely functional remote as the only method of control, the bed is very hard, a memory foam mattress topper would fix this. The main shower has an overhead and handheld, but the handheld does not work.
